Assessing and communicating economic contribution across a complex portfolio

Prominence was engaged by several major national organisations overseeing complex infrastructure portfolios to quantify and communicate the economic value generated through their operations, investments and supply chains.

Prominence coordinated extensive data collection across multiple sites, tenants and business units, consolidating financial and operational inputs to support detailed economic modelling. The objective was to strengthen advocacy, inform future investment decisions and improve engagement with government and industry stakeholders. This included consultation with executives, tenant groups and project sponsors to ensure assumptions reflected operational realities and the diversity of activities across each organisation. Where data availability varied, Prominence applied rigorous validation, triangulation and estimation techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy.

A Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model was developed to quantify direct, indirect and induced economic impacts across national, state and regional levels. The analysis captured key metrics including employment, Gross State Product and trade flow contributions, providing a comprehensive view of economic value.

Prominence delivered a suite of outputs, including detailed reports, visual assets and structured datasets, enabling the client to communicate complex insights clearly to a broad range of stakeholders. Presentations to senior leadership supported informed decision-making and strengthened confidence in the findings. The engagement demonstrated Prominence’s ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs and deliver robust, defensible analysis. By translating technical modelling into clear and accessible narratives, Prominence enabled clients to articulate their economic contribution with confidence and engage more effectively with government, industry and the wider community.
