Prominence was engaged by a Defence related group to help prepare for upcoming reforms by updating a core capability and program governance manual and supporting its implementation across the organisation. The aim was to ensure the manual was relevant to how capability is actually managed, and that people were ready and able to use it effectively.
Working in partnership with internal business process and learning and development teams, our team contributed to refining the manual’s content and structure, so it better reflected the full capability lifecycle and associated governance expectations. In tandem, we developed the change management plan and supporting artefacts including guidance materials, communications and training aligned content to help stakeholders understand the changes and adopt the updated manual in their day‑to‑day work.
This engagement helped the client align reform intent with practical processes and behaviours, providing a clearer, more usable foundational manual and a structured pathway for bringing people, governance and documentation into line with the updated capability system.
