Leanne Ryan

CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

Leanne, the co-founder and Managing Director of Prominence, boasts a remarkable 35-year track record of business success. Her achievements are founded in the strong and enduring connections she has built with her clients. Before establishing Prominence, Leanne held senior positions in the fields of banking, law and information technology. Her tenure in the Middle East, where she worked in the oil and gas industry, has ensured an unparalleled wealth of expertise in this sector.

Leanne has a proven track record in business, having successfully grown Prominence from a niche part-time consultancy in the 1990s into the full-service, national business consultancy it is today. She leads a strong and diverse team of management consultants, ensuring integrity is at the heart of every project. Leanne’s consulting work spans the corporate, professional services and local, state and federal governments working closely with senior executives and board members.

Leanne prides herself on leading and managing a business with a clear focus on excellence in service delivery that meets the needs of clients and improves their strategic, operational and business performance. Her commitment to transparency and accountability is the key that sets Prominence apart.

Leanne is a Commissioner for Declarations and is on the Board of the Australian Esports Federation (AEF). Additionally, she is a member of the Global Esports Federation Brand, Marketing, Communications Commission, the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Australian Defence Industry Network (AIDN). Leanne is also an accredited GatewayTM assurance Review Team Member.

Craig Haughin

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Craig is Prominence’s Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Prominence in 2016, Craig had over 20 years’ experience in leading large commercial organisations and delivering complex programs and projects including international technology transfer programs. Since joining Prominence, Craig has successfully led over 150 complex consulting projects for Prominence across our industries. Craig is well-known for being a values-led leader with a genuine passion for client excellence.

Craig has board level experience and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours). He is a qualified Mediator and has attended multiple prestigious business schools in the UK and Switzerland. Craig is on the Board of the Australian Esports Federation (AEF) and is also an active member of the Infrastructure Association of Queensland (IAQ) and the Australian Industry Defence Network (AIDN).

Paula Murray

NATIONAL DIRECTOR – HEALTH AND COMMUNITY

Paula is an experienced healthcare executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience across Australia and New Zealand. She specialises in clinical governance, quality and safety, hospital commissioning, workforce strategy, operational excellence and health service transformation. Paula has successfully led complex hospital infrastructure, accreditation, governance and digital transformation initiatives, helping healthcare organisations strengthen performance, improve patient outcomes and navigate change with confidence.

A Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management, Paula holds a Master’s degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and is currently a Doctor of Health Science candidate. She is a registered nurse with AHPRA and brings a unique combination of executive leadership, clinical expertise and practical delivery experience to support clients across the health sector.

Cathy Luck

ENGAGEMENT DELIVERY DIRECTOR

Cathy is a senior project, operational and commercial leader, with over 25 years’ experience across industries including aerospace, defence, aviation, marine, banking and tourism. She is an engaging and authentic leader with a proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Business, Diploma of Leadership and Management, Diploma of Tourism, Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, Commercial Helicopter licence (CPL), a Grade 2 Instructor Rating and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).

Jackie Steele

ENGAGEMENT DELIVERY DIRECTOR

Jackie has considerable experience in strategic and operational planning, service reform and development, project management, service evaluation and service improvement initiatives. Prior to moving into consulting, Jackie had a successful 26-year career in public health, in a variety of senior management roles and as a public health practitioner. Since joining Prominence in 2013, Jackie has utilised her strong strategic, conceptual, research, analytical, leadership and management skills in undertaking and supervising consultancy projects.

Jackie holds a Master of Public Health, a Graduate Certificate in Health Management, a Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion and Bachelor of Applied Science.

Katrina Byrne

ENGAGEMENT DELIVERY DIRECTOR

Katrina is an accomplished executive leader with more than 25 years of experience driving transformation, operational excellence and complex program delivery across the defence, aerospace, advanced manufacturing and resources sectors. As a former Chief Operating Officer and senior program executive, she has led major organisational change and growth initiatives in highly regulated environments.  Having held leadership roles with AnteoTech, Boeing Defence Australia, Airbus Australia Pacific and CAE, Katrina brings deep expertise in governance, strategy execution, business transformation and operational performance. She is known for building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable outcomes for organisations navigating complex challenges.

Katrina holds a Master of Business Administration (Executive) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Manufacturing and Materials).

Lauren Ryan

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Lauren is responsible for managing strategic, operational and complex resource requirements for Prominence. She also ensures the maintenance and continuous improvement of Prominence’s quality management system to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Lauren brings a diverse background in operations management, customer service, client relationship management, sensitive data governance and data entry. In addition to her work with Prominence for 10+ years, Lauren has held supervisory, senior and ordinary issuing officer roles across local and state Queensland, and Federal elections.

Lauren is currently completing a Diploma of Business (Operations) and holds a Bachelor of Fine Art.

Rebecca Miranda

TENDER COORDINATOR

As Tender Coordinator, Rebecca drives the development and continuous improvement of Prominence’s bid management process. Rebecca ensures close coordination and collaboration with the wider Prominence leadership team and consultants throughout proposal development. Rebecca is an experienced tender and administrative specialist with more than 18 years of global experience across the Satellite, IT, Telecommunications and Construction sectors. She is known for her attention to detail, stakeholder diplomacy and process‑driven approach, strengthening client engagement and ensuring high‑quality, compliant and professionally presented submissions. Her background also includes marketing operations, channel partnership management and cross‑border coordination. 

Rebecca holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance/Business and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Financial Management Services). She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed certifications in Certified Agile Leadership, Excel Power Tools for Data Analysis and Generative AI for Business.

Nick Vanzetti

SPECIALIST ADVISOR

Nick is an entrepreneurial business leader with over 20 years of experience pioneering the esports and gaming industry across Australia and the Asia Pacific. He has founded and scaled multiple ventures, including Australia’s first national esports circuit, which was successfully acquired by ESL. Nick has led large-scale, multinational operations, with responsibility for full P&L across multiple legal entities and has a strong track record in building high-performing teams, delivering major live events and broadcast programs, and securing strategic partnerships with global publishers and government stakeholders. Most recently, Nick served as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Japan at ESL FACEIT Group, where he developed an extensive network across publishers, event organisers, federations and industry partners bringing a depth of insight and connectivity that is unique in the Australian market.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Business, Advertising and Marketing.
